During the holidays it’s the best time to have fun with fashion and be daring! A great way to set yourself apart from everyone else is with an awesome statement shoe. We picked out six options that could be the icing on top of the cake for your holiday party look!

1.) These wild heels from Modcloth for $119.99 not only are splashed with a metallic cheetah print, but they also have a unique heel with a heart cutout!

2.) We love these sparkly pumps from ALDO for $79.99, and the contrast between the black and the gold is especially eye catching. You’ll be sure to get noticed!

3.) These Sam Edelman slingbacks for $59.99 come in several different bold prints, but we love the black and white zigzag! The classic colors go with anything and are still versatile for future use.

4.) These Betsey Johnson heels for $72.99 look unassuming from the front, but the back shows off a gorgeous lace up detail, which is reminiscent of a corset!

5.) The bold electric blue color of these Steve Madden pumps ($129.95) is beautiful, and the heels are adorned with small rhinestones for just the right amount of sparkle.

6.) Looking to really make a statement? Check out the Fab-fetti heels from Modcloth for $47.99. The multicolored sparkles and the scalloped edging really make this shoe stand out!

Have a good time during your holiday festivities and be sure to snap a pic and show us how you shined these holidays!

There’s a Gaga invasion on the men’s fifth floor of Barneys New York!

This holiday season, Barneys New York has partnered with Lady Gaga to create her own interpretation of Santa’s Workshop, Gaga style. With artwork by Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson, the entire event is a visual experience for all who enter.

The workshop is fully stocked, with items ranging from hair bows to chocolate shoes. There’s something for Lady Gaga fans at every price point and 25% of the sales go to Gaga’s charity, the Born This Way Foundation.

For those of you in the New York City area during the holiday season, Gaga’s Workshop is a do not miss event. The workshop will be open until January 2nd, so definitely make time to stop by. If you can’t make it to the Big Apple, be sure to check out this panoramic view of the event. All items can also be ordered online at the official website as a perfect gift for the Lady Gaga fan in your life, or just as a special treat for yourself.

Make sure to keep an eye out while on the Barneys and Fashism websites, too. Codes are hidden throughout which can be entered here for prizes!

Gift Guide - For The Foodie
A tasty treat is pretty much a shoe-in with everyone. And if it’s not, I really encourage you to de-friend that person. I never trust people who don’t enjoy food… But hey, that’s just me.
1. One of my favorite teas of all time, Mariage Frères Marco Polo is light, deep, fruity and comforting, all-in-one.
2. Mast Brothers Chocolate is down the street from my house, and I walk by it every day just to catch a whiff of amazing chocolate smell. The taste is right up there too, with the sea salt bar being my favorite. Get a pack of 10 to share, or buy them individually. No need to wrap these babies, as the packaging is gorgeous!
3. An enthusiastic home cook (as evidenced by my Instagram feed), I am always on the hunt for new recipes to try and tinker with. Fellow General Assembly startup Food52 has been a new source of inspiration, and their new crowd-sourced Food52 cookbook, edited by co-founder Amanda Hesser (ahem - you may remember her from The New York Times cookbook!) & Merrill Stubbs, is full of fresh, easy and inventive recipes to follow and innovate upon.
4. For the stinky cheese lovers in your life (and I hope you have many!), here’s a gift that keeps on giving: The Murray’s Cheese Shop Monthly Cheese Subscription. Plan strategically and give it to someone that lives close to you so they can invite you over. Every month.
5. I am so tired of cupcakes! Especially when there’s more beautiful, more delicious, more refined confections in town: macarons! These treats taste just as good as they look. And while people may tell you to go to Ladurée, I beg to differ and recommend Macaron Café. I’ve done the taste test and I prefer them, plus they have way more flavors - which also means more colors in the pretty box!
6. This is the season for hot chocolate. My favorite? Marie Belle’s Aztec Spicy Hot Chocolate, with just the right amount of chili spice. Make it European-style with hot water and top it with some whipped cream!
